2021 Lingerie Trends
Wellbeing, comfort, quality and sustainability will be the trend for lingerie in 2021. The pandemic has forced most of us into lockdown and has resulted in consumers purchasing more loungewear and lingerie online.
This is great for the Loungewear and Lingerie industry who have capitalised on this demand by producing garments that serve customers in this current mood.
However, in spite of the fact that fashion brands are now producing loungewear collections, does not mean consumers will be receptive, this just means that there is now more choice.
Consumers will be increasingly conscious and selective about which brands to purchase from, brand messaging, how products are made and whether brands are using sustainable fabrics and packaging
Lingerie and Loungewear will be comfortable and basic for some consumers but for others, more opulent. Where consumers purchased luxury high end outerwear in the past, will now purchase luxury high end lingerie and loungewear statement pieces instead.
Pyjamas, dress slips and bralettes pieces that can transition from underwear to outerwear was always popular, but will be even more so in 2021.
