Fenty beauty by Rihanna is giving us life!
Last month Rihanna launched her cosmetics line Fenty Beauty and lets just say she's got the cosmetics industry a little SHOOK! It is a known "secret" that the mainstream cosmetics industry does not fully cater for darker skin complexions. Brands such as MAC and Lancome were the only mainstream brands who produced more than 4 darker shades. If it wasn't for brands such as IMAN, Black Opal and Fashion Fair women of colour would find it very hard to buy quality makeup for their complexions. With the advent of social media, beauty bloggers and their influence have put pressure on the industry to resolve this problem, some brands have listened, some have not and have even gone so far to discontinue their darker shades. Rhi-Rhi on the other hand listened to the people, entered into the industry with a bang and launched 40 shades to cater all skin types - whether you are pale or dark - your complexion shade is catered for.
Rhianna says and I quote

And she did just that - her products have been flying off the shelves. Beauty bloggers are in awe and have commended her first launch. We support cosmetic brands that cater for all complexion shades such as Black opal.
